Meet Paul O'Dwyer
Irish AI Consultancy is led by Paul O'Dwyer, a Dublin-based consultant who has spent more than 15 years inside Irish SMEs and corporates, redesigning how they win business and how the work gets done. His client list spans manufacturing, construction, hospitality, property and professional services, including Wright Windows, U Value Insulation and Hibernia Steel.
Paul's work has always centred on business process and growth: leading digital transformation projects end to end, connecting websites, CRMs and payment systems, and directing software development teams so clients have a single point of accountability. In recent years that focus has moved firmly to AI: building AI-assisted workflows for clients, advising on AI search visibility across ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, and founding ZellCo.io, the M&A advisory platform featured above.
Before that he founded and ran an M&A brokerage, completing multiple seven-figure business sales, and held board-level marketing leadership at a 130-staff, €50m distribution group. He is a graduate of the Enterprise Ireland Hothouse programme.

R&D tax relief
From January 2026 the R&D tax credit is worth 35% of qualifying research and development expenditure, with up to €87,500 payable in the first year. Building genuinely new AI capability into your product or process may qualify; your accountant confirms eligibility.
Pre-Seed Start Fund (PSSF)
Investment for early-stage companies, ideally with a working MVP and early customer validation. Our MVP builds are designed to get you exactly there: something real in front of users that you can bring to Enterprise Ireland and investors.
Innovation Vouchers

What tools do you work with?
We are tool-agnostic and work with what fits your business: AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, automation platforms like n8n, Zapier and Make, and the systems you already use, from spreadsheets and email through to your CRM and accounts software.
What is AI search optimisation and do we need it?
AI search optimisation, sometimes called generative engine optimisation or GEO, is the work of making your business visible and accurately described in the answers given by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews. A growing share of customers now ask an AI assistant for recommendations instead of scrolling search results, and businesses that are structured to be read and cited by these systems get recommended while competitors stay invisible. If new customers matter to your business, it is worth at least auditing where you currently stand.
Is our business data safe?
Yes. We work GDPR-first: your data stays in your systems and your accounts, we set up AI tools on plans where your data is not used for model training, and everything we build is handed over to accounts you own. We are happy to sign an NDA before any discovery work.
How long does an engagement take?
Two to four weeks for a workflow transformation, from first discovery session to trained team. MVP builds vary with scope, but the goal is always the same: something real in front of users within weeks, not quarters.
What if AI is not the right fix for our problem?
Then we will tell you, in the discovery call, for free. Some problems are better solved with a process change or an off-the-shelf tool, and pretending otherwise wastes your money and our reputation. We only take on engagements where we can measure a real improvement.
Do you work outside Dublin?
Yes, we work with businesses across Ireland. Discovery and training work well remotely, and we can be on-site where it helps, particularly for the initial mapping of how your team works today.
